  • Good all round experience in equine management
  • Good and experienced handling ability
  • Plenty of regular hands on access to equines
  • Research skills required for projects and assignments. To complete assignments you will require the free app Adobe Acrobat Reader – see below.

    • Paypal:  We do not accept student initiated card or monthly Paypal payments. An alternative is 4 only Paypal recurring instalment payments which can only be set up by us via our office which incurs a small fee.

The final assessment paper will be a mixture of questions, mainly taken from the course text, requiring short answers, plus a few requiring longer answers.  To get the best from the course you just save the files to a device.  If you decide on completion to aim for the optional certificate, send in your final assessment paper.

NOTE:  When used as part of the Intermediate Diploma programme (ID2), provides the majority of the theory for Stage 1 & 2.  ID’s offer subsidised fees & option of 3/4 certificates.

Requires use of Free Downloadable App:

Beneficial to successful completion of the course is:  a keyboard, and a printer if you prefer to work from the printed page (average use: 1 toner / 2 cartridge); An internet connection via computer/similar device enabling completion of assignments and access to Lingfield’s online cloud system for tutor checked assignments.

If you are paying for & enrolling someone else, the student MUST (on the same day) contact us personally directly from their own email address.  They must state their name and address, details of the course on which you are enrolling them and must provide details of the person/organisation paying for their course.

Note:  We cannot/will not activate the course until we have this personal contact from the student.

It will help us and the student if you can please let us know us if there are any difficulties with dyslexia or learning.

Restrictions to course files apply

  • On a monthly/payment basis with instalment plans, and restrictions if specialist courses within an ID programme
  • As per T & C.
  • Completion restrictions may occasionally apply with government funding.
  • Be aware – the final element of any course cannot be sent until the full fee is paid.
  • As explained in the Terms & Conditions and Course Information pages the files need to be saved to a device.  You may save the course files on a memory stick, or in a cloud folder if you want to access them on your phone at the stables or on another device or at work etc.
