Understanding Equine Psychology
It feels like ages since I’ve written! I’m struggling to keep up a bit due to having a lot on my plate at the mo, but am thoroughly enjoying the (Level 1 Equine Care & Management) course.
I’ve learnt so much since joining, some of which I thought I knew already, but had either been misinformed, or didn’t understand as well as I thought I did! I’ve been trying out loads of new training techniques with the horse I currently have on a loan, some of which have been really successful.
The course has also really encouraged me to start noticing things more, i.e. behaviour and reactions amongst the herd, the different responses I get from the horse when riding, my body and muscles when riding, etc.
