Level 1 Equine Care & Management

“We have a number of horses at our yard.  Lab testing makes so much more sense than regularly worming the entire herd every 6 weeks.  It means that resistance to drugs will lessen and when we do treat for worms the treatment will be much more effective.

We now only use this method since I studied the Lingfield Level 1 module on worming.”

It also means fewer drugs being used on fewer horses so .. worming is definitely sorted.  The reviewer went on to tell us about her

“old yard where the horses had very restricted turnout times yet continued to receive hard feed as usual.  This resulted in horses which were so full of energy they were difficult and even dangerous to ride.”
